AIRPORT TAXES IN INDIA
Passenger embarking on journey to any place outside India from a customer’s airport will have to pay an airport tax of INR 700. However to journeys for Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives – INR 350 is charged if they are returning back to India.


MEALS
  
India is rich in varieties of food stuffs that are good in taste and hygiene. Every state has its own variety that should be tasted by every individual while in India. The Indian cuisine along with American, Chinese, French, Italian, Mughal etc. Are offered in every major cities of India. We provide the meals as per the itinerary one chooses.


TRANSFERS SIGHTSEEING TOURS & EXCURSIONS

1) All airport and train station transfers include transportation and the assistance of our representative who will assist in the check-in/check-out process.

2) All sightseeing tours and excursions include transportation and services of local English speaking guide. Guides speaking other languages are available upon request and are subject to additional charges. Since the services of other language guides may not be available in some cities, the services of local English speaking guide are provided.

3) Sightseeing tours or excursion rates do not include any lunch or soft drinks, etc.

4) Unless mentioned otherwise the capacity of an ordinary car is maximum 03 persons plus the driver. Buses have maximum capacity of 30/35 passengers including the guide and driver.


RATES & PAYMENTS
  
All rates for our tours are quoted in us dollars unless otherwise requested or stated. At least 50% of full payment should be remitted in foreign exchange towards the cost of tour arrangements by following methods. The rest payment can be cleared at the time of arrival.

2) Bank draft (banker’s check) favoring Unitop Tours & Travel (P) Ltd., payable in new Delhi. Draft should reach prior to commencement of tour. Kindly send the bank draft by either registered mail, federal express/courier only as ordinary mail can get lost in transit.


CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS   

45-30 days - Non refundable deposit if any.
29-15 days - Non refundable deposit if any.
14-08 days - 15 % of the tour cost + non refundable deposit if any.
07-02 days - 30% of the tour cost + non refundable deposit if any.
01-00 day   - 50% or more cancellation and non refundable deposit if any.


LIABILITIES  

Unitop Tours & Travel (P) Ltd., (the company) is working as agents for carriers, keepers of inns, hotels, boarding or lodging houses, restaurants, transport operators, railways, cruises and other such set of services.

The company arranges ticket bookings and reservations only as agents for their clients who accepts the laid out terms and conditions of the carriers, hotels, accommodation providers or other service providers with whom the company may have arrangements for their clients.

The company is not liable for cancellations of journeys, deviations, delays or the failure to provide seats or berths or the facilities to carry or sort the luggage or failure to provide accommodation.

The company is not liable in the event of any alteration or change of any kind made by any of the service providers even after accepting the bookings by them and client will remain responsible for any such increase in charges or changes that may entail.

The company on behalf of their servants and agents do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their servants and agents or of the servants and agents of the sub-agents or their agents of the service providers for injury, damage or loss to persons or goods, whatsoever and howsoever the same may be caused, and they do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given or statements made by the servant and agents or those given or made by the travel services and agents.

COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE PLAN    

It is suggested that a comprehensive insurance plan should be purchased by the clients’ prior to undertake the tour. We recommend the following category, which should also be insured:


A)
 TRIP CANCELLATION AND INTERRUPTION
It should cover the payments made for the non-refundable trips by air and or the land cost due to cancellation prior to the departure of the tour or due to interruptions during the trip after departure form your country, which may include events like sickness, injury, etc.


B) MEDICAL EXPENSES COVER

It should cover the cost for physician, hospitable charges including medicines for treatment, operation, hospitalization, and emergency evacuation due to sickness or injury which may occur or aggravate while you are on your trip.

 

C) BAGGAGE INSURANCE
It should cover purchase of clothing and other accessories, which may be required in the event of baggage delayed, stolen or damaged.


D) TRIP DELAY

It should cover meals and lodging expenses if the trip is delayed for 12 hours or more. Coverage should also include conditions that existed prior to the effective date of service, suicide, normal pregnancy, or any act of war or mental or nervous disorders.
